2008 Toys For Tots Event a Success - February 17, 2009

Members and guests attending the luncheon were encouraged to bring a new toy for this worthwhile program that has now become a San Diego Post yearly tradition. They did not disappoint. Two large boxes were over flowing with the toys brought in.
A Marine from the program came to lunch and was on hand to speak with us and answer any questions. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at the holidays, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
